Whether you’re conducting industry or company-specific research, evaluating candidates, researching a potential investment, completing due diligence checks, or undertaking competitive intelligence, finding out the fullest possible profile is key to providing superlative service to your clients.
During this 2-hour session, you will learn how to use the many commercial, government and web-based resources that facilitate systematic background research. Practical strategies for leveraging these tools and addressing common pitfalls will be shared. The workshop will also cover social media’s role in a fully comprehensive inquiry. While focussing primarily on Canadian resources, a selection of US and international equivalents will also be explored.
